About Us

The Dell Children's Northwest Austin Circle of Friends chapter is an enthusiastic group of volunteers who have been going strong since the group formed in 1996. Their annual spring event is Cheers for Children, and they meet the second Monday of every month at 7:00pm at rotating Friends homes.

Funds raised by this chapter will benefit the Texas Child Study Center Endowment at Dell Children’s Medical Center.  This center – a collaboration between Dell Children’s and The University of Texas – treats children and adolescents with emotional, developmental and behavioral challenges.  With your support, this facility will develop disease-specific evaluative and interventional programs to address disorders such as autism, depression and other mental health issues.
