About Us
Founded in the fall of 2006, the Uptown Chapter of Circle of Friends is comprised of young professionals in the Austin area. Uptown's annual spring event, Rhythm and Brews, which features beer and Bar-B-Que tasting and live music, raises funds for Dell Children's Medical Center's.

Funds raised by this chapter will benefit the Texas Child Study Center Endowment at Dell Children’s Medical Center. This center – a collaboration between Dell Children’s and The University of Texas – treats children and adolescents with emotional, developmental and behavioral challenges. With your support, this facility will develop disease-specific evaluative and interventional programs to address disorders such as autism, depression and other mental health issues.
