Ace Hardwarejay tee  kathy costco

The Ace Hardware Foundation has raised more than $40 million for Children’s Miracle Network since 1991 and stands behind its motto: Helping build brighter futures. Its 2008 vendor golf outing hosted 1,000 golfers and raised $537,000, while the 5th annual Tour de Kids bicycle journey netted another $500,000 for local hospitals. Ace also hosted its 11th annual Hawaii Golf Shootout. Complete with celebrities and golf challenges, the event raised $845,000. In addition to these events, many Ace stores sold Racing for a Miracle icons, held ski weekends and organized barbeque cook-offs while Ace warehouse employees participated in workplace giving campaigns and hosted a myriad of other unique fundraising events.

American Car Care Centers

In 2009, American Car Care Centers are celebrating 20 years in business. They have grown from three member dealers to more than 1,000 across the United States. Children’s Miracle Network is part of their vision for the next 20 years in business. National staff, member dealers, distributors and customers will work together to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in the communities where they live and do business. Children’s Miracle Network is happy to welcome American Car Care Centers as a new Children’s Miracle Network Sponsor.

American Legion

The American Legion joined Children's Miracle Network in 1998 and has raised over $15 million since then. This patriotic, community service, war-time veterans organization is well known for community service. The Legion raises funds at the local level, primarily through flag icon sales, and encourages the community to get involved.

Auntie Anne's

In 2009, Auntie Anne’s celebrates its 10th anniversary of supporting Children’s Miracle Network. Since 1999, Auntie Anne’s pretzel locations across the country have helped raise more than $3 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. Numerous franchisees, crewmembers, guests and corporate employees appreciate that their donations help kids in their hometowns; Many have been touched personally by the efforts. Throughout the year, Auntie Anne’s stores raise funds through Miracle Balloon campaigns, coin canister collections, individual special events, workplace giving and an annual golf tournament. National Pretzel Day, April 26, is one of Auntie Anne’s largest single-day fundraisers.

CEFCO Convenience Stores

With its 120-plus stores, CEFCO has served the Central Texas area with an unwavering commitment to Children’s Miracle Network since 1999. CEFCO serves the children of its community and gives outstanding service to its customers, which can be summed up by the company’s goal to “do the right thing.” CEFCO is a fine example of a community working together to help save and improve the lives of children.

CO-OP Financial Services

CO-OP Financial Services, the nation’s largest credit union-owned electronic funds transfer network and processor, recently established the Million Dollar Miracle Match program to encourage credit unions across the United States to fundraise for their Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. In 2008, 74 credit unions participated in the program, raising just over $1.5 million through community-focused events. The Miracle Match is unprecedented in the history of Children’s Miracle Network and could potentially mean $2 million to $3 million in new, incremental funds for children’s hospitals.

Costco Wholesale Corp.

A genuine love of children is one of the many positive values that Costco employees share, so it was not surprising when the Issaquah, Washington-based mass merchandiser began raising money for Seattle Children’s Medical and Research Center in 1988 as a local sponsor. Over the years, Costco’s participation in Children’s Miracle Network has expanded along with the growth of the company, raising money for Children’s Miracle Network-affiliated children’s hospitals in every community where Costco warehouses are located. To date, Costco has raised over $105 million to help ill children across North America.

dqCredit Unions for Kids

Credit Unions for Kids joined CMN in 1996 and has raised over $40 million nationwide since then. Since 1987, the Austin Chapter of Credit Unions has raised millions of dollars for Children's Hospital of Austin and now for Dell Children's Medical Center, through an annual spring car raffle, a Kids Classic Golf Tournament, and other special events.

Dairy Queen

The Dairy Queen system has been a proud sponsor of Children’s Miracle Network since 1984. During the past 25 years, DQ Operators throughout the United States and Canada have raised more than $76 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. From collecting customers’ change to selling Miracle Balloons and holding special events, DQ is giving back to the communities in which it does business. For one day each August, called “Miracle Treat Day,” all participating Dairy Queen®, DQ® Treat Center and DQ® Grill & Chill® locations in the United States and Canada donate proceeds from every Blizzard® Treat sold to Children’s Miracle Network.

Discovercard

Children’s Miracle Network is excited about our partnership with Discover® Card. The Children’s Miracle Network co-branded Discover® Card will feature a $100 donation to Children's Miracle Network® hospitals when the new cardholder makes their first $500 in purchases with the new card within 6 months of being approved. Foresters

Providing hope and protecting the future—it’s what Foresters and Children’s Miracle Network have in common. For 135 years Foresters has shared its time and financial strength to improve communities and make children’s lives better. Foresters is committed to the growth and success of Children’s Miracle Network through its support of corporate and grassroots programs. As founding sponsor and underwriter of the Radiothon program, Foresters pays for costs associated with the program so funds raised stay local. Recently, Foresters announced its support of expansion into the United Kingdom. Foresters has donated more than $24 million to help Children’s Miracle hospitals raise $280 million.

Golden Corral

Golden Corral’s commitment to serve great-tasting food with friendly service for the best value is still strong after 35 years. Ranked number one in the buffet dining segment, the company has a commitment to giving back to the community. In 2008, Golden Corral raised more than $650,000 during a 10-week campaign. Restaurants sold $1 Miracle Balloons and sponsored golf tournaments, auctions, community dinners, raffles, bake sales and carnivals. By partnering with Children’s Miracle Network the last four years, Golden Corral has raised more than $1.9 million for its children’s hospitals. 2009, its fifth campaign year, offers the promise of making more miracles for kids.

Great Clips

As the leading single-brand salon in the North America, more than 2,700 Great Clips salons reach across the United States and Canada. Headquartered in Minneapolis, Great Clips has been a fundraising partner of Children’s Miracle Network since 2004. Currently, salons participate in the October “Great Needs. Great Deeds.” program and sell thousands of Miracle Balloons throughout the United States and western Canada. Great Clips salons and stylists have raised more than $800,000 for local hospitals. At Great Clips, stylists are not only focused on you and your hair, but on the needs of the community through their support of Children’s Miracle Network. As they say, “Relax. You’re at Great Clips.”

Greek Partners

Five national fraternal organizations support Children's Miracle Network, and together they have raised near $10 million for their hospitals. The partners are Phi Mu, Sigma Chi, Phi Kappa Theta, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and Zeta Beta Tau.

Kiwanis Internationalvalero

Kiwanis is a service-based organization with more than 8,500 clubs and nearly 30,000 members worldwide. Kiwanis focuses member efforts on kids through an ongoing service program called Young Children: Priority One. Through this program, clubs are encouraged to carry out community projects that focus on local children’s needs. In 1996, Key Club International (a high school Kiwanis program) partnered with Children’s Miracle Network to participate in the Service of Champions program. This program focuses on children’s hospitals and the communities in which they’re located. The Kiwanis and Key Club organizations have raised more than $36 million for Children’s Miracle Network.

Marriott International is proud of its long-held “spirit to serve” philosophy and possesses a sincere desire to make a difference in the lives of others, whether fellow associates, guests, customers or neighbors. Marriott’s mission to help the communities where it does business is at the heart of so many of its activities, whether it be the Breakfast Campaign, the Torch Relay, the Hit the Green gala promotion or the Marriott Rewards guest donation program. All of these initiatives reflect the company’s genuine wish to give something back to the thousands of places around the world that so many of us call home.

Microsoft

Founded in 1975, Microsoft is the worldwide leader in software, services and solutions that help people and businesses realize their full potential. In fall 2008, Microsoft created the Children’s Miracle Network Family Game pack for Xbox 360, a premier video game and entertainment system that is home to top games, plus more entertainment than any other device connected to the TV. The Family Game pack is available for purchase at key retail partners in the United States. Microsoft is donating 100 percent of the net proceeds from this Family Games pack to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.

Miss America Organization

Children's Miracle Network is the official national platform of the Miss America Organization. Each year, the new Miss America serves as a Goodwill Ambassador, raising funds and awareness for the nation's premier children's hospitals. Children's Miracle Network has a nearly 20-year history working with the Miss America Organization, but has been the official national platform since 2007. Since then, the partnership has raised more than $2.3 million. The partnership also extends to women competing at the local, state, and national levels of the pageant, asking each contestant to be responsible for raising funds on behalf of Children's Miracle Network and the Miss America Scholarship fund.

Money Mailer

Money Mailer is a leader in the $65 billion direct-mail industry with a national sales force and nearly 300 franchises in 33 states. Money Mailer leverages its media assets to raise awareness for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in the communities it serves. Money Mailer’s 2008 three-month promotional campaign includes co-branding its shared mail envelopes with the Children’s Miracle Network logo, mailed to 21 million families in March, April and May. Participating franchise owners donate a portion of their advertising sales all year long. Franchisees also work with their children’s hospitals to provide advertising of local events like Radiothon and the Celebration broadcast.

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc.

Panda Restaurant Group currently operates more than 1,200 restaurants in 37 states and is the world’s leader in Asian restaurants. For the second year in a row the Restaurant Support Center, along with Operations Leaders throughout the country, participated in an Workplace Giving campaign on behalf of Children’s Miracle Network. The campaign was once again a huge success, boasting an 81 percent participation rate. In addition to the Associate Giving campaign, Panda continues to serve delicious Panda Express food to thousands of Children’s Miracle Network patients and families through the Panda Cares program, which supports children’s causes in Panda Express’ neighborhoods.

walmartRE/MAX

Internationally joined Children's Miracle Network in 1992 and has raised more than $55 million for children's hospitals across the country. Central Texas RE/MAX "Miracle Agents" make a contribution to Dell Children's for every home they sell, and both the agent and the buyer receive an acknowledgement letter for each such transaction.

Safeway Stores, Inc.

A sponsor since 1992, Speedway SuperAmerica has raised nearly $24 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. Speedway raises funds through a year-long canister campaign, various grassroots fundraising activities at the stores, an employee payroll deduction program and an annual corporate golf tournament.

Six Flags

Six Flags Friends is a series of programs throughout the Six Flags family of parks that make a difference in communities by encouraging local involvement, supporting the mission of non-profit organizations, and bringing the thrill of Six Flags to children and families across North America. Six Flags Friends and Cure Kids Cancer have teamed up to raise awareness and funding for the fight against pediatric cancer through “A Walk In The Park,” a unique walk-a-thon event taking place at 12 Six Flags properties. The inaugural events in 2008 were a success, and the goal of 2009 and beyond is to grow fundraising efforts while energizing communities to take a stand against pediatric cancer.

USA Gymnastics

USA Gymnastics, the national governing body for the sport of gymnastics, supports Children’s Miracle Network through the Tyson Fitness Challenge and National Gymnastics Day- events that celebrate the sport of gymnastics, physical fitness, and fund raising and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. Nationwide, almost 80,000 gymnasts and supporters participate in these events and have raised over $1 million through cartwheel-a-thons and other fundraisers. Regions of USA Gymnastics have also raised funds through regional meetings participating in events such as silent auctions.

Valero Energy Corporation

Valero Energy Corporation is proud to be the largest refiner and marketer in North America with 16 refineries, thousands of retail stores and a combined throughput capacity of 3 million barrels per day. But more importantly, Valero is proud of its commitment to community. For more than 14 years, Valero Corner Stores have partnered with Children’s Miracle Network to raise more than $9 million for children’s hospitals in areas where its employees live and work. Valero’s commitment to excellence in the community grows stronger every year. We look forward to working with our generous customers for even greater success in 2009.

Wal-Mart/Sam's Club

As Children’s Miracle Network’s largest sponsor, Wal-mart Canada continues to lead the fundraising efforts for children’s hospitals, generating more than $8 million in 2008 alone. In addition to events like the Wal-mart Walk for Miracles and its sponsorship of Champions Across Canada, Wal-mart has raised millions over the years by highlighting the importance of supporting local Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. They’ve inspired vendor partners and associates in over 310 stores across Canada to raise funds through product promotions, Miracle Balloon sales, in-store fundraising—all topped by a generous corporate matching program. Since 1994, Wal-mart Canada has raised more than $40 million.

Woodforest National Bank

Woodforest National Bank is 25 years old and operates in the states of Texas, Virginia, and North Carolina. In the Central Texas area, Woodforest branches are found in Wal-Mart stores, where Woodforest employees enthusiastically promote and support Children's Miracle Network through the sale of Miracle Balloons.
