For over 100 years, H-E-B has defined what it means to be a responsible corporate partner with the community. Whether donating in-kind goods, rallying large groups of volunteers, or investing generously in community programs, H-E-B has created a unique culture of giving that simply sets it apart.

Since 1998, H-E-B has donated more than $1 million to the Children's Hospital of Austin and Dell Children's Medical Center. Throughout those years, H-E-B and its partners (the employees) have made a considerable impact on the health of children in Central Texas.

Upon walking in the main entrance at Dell Children's, one is immediately greeted by the
H-E-B Amphitheatre, a beautiful space where patients and families come to see performances by local musicians and storytellers. For many patients, this space serves as a much needed respite from the day to day reality of being in a medical setting. H-E-B also generously supports Dell Children's annual Gala as a key sponsor, which raises funds for programs of the Medical Center.

Perhaps most reflective of its generous culture is the Annual H-E-B Fall Festival at Dell Children's. Over 100 H-E-B partners come together and volunteer to create a morning of fun and games for patients and their families. Each year before Halloween, H-E-B transforms the outdoor tranquility gardens into an exciting carnival full of face painting, games, and pumpkin decorating.
