Third Bed Tower- We already need more space to serve the children of Central Texas.
Dell Children's was designed for growth, and original architectural plans included space for more patient rooms to be constructed as needed. As the Central Texas region continues to grow, the demand for services has increased and the time to add more space is now. The medical center currently has two bed towers. Preparations for a third bed tower are under way with an anticipated completion date of 2013.  Click here to learn more.

Academic Medicine- We're training the next generation of outstanding doctors.
Dell Children's is a teaching hospital. We currently have 50 residents, and the program will continue to grow with new collaborations between Seton Family of Hospitals, The University of Texas at Austin and UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. This will build a strong three-pronged foundation for academic medicine that includes excellence in clinical care, groundbreaking biomedical research and outstanding medical education.
