Neurosciences Program Fundraiser in Honor of Macy Burns

| My desire is to raise funds for a very important program within Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, located in Austin.
The Neuroscience Program at DCMC provides much needed medical care and support to children and their families throughout Texas.
I've been one of their patients since I was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy at the age of 14. |
Two surgeries in three years, numerous hospitalizations, countless doctor appointments, multiple medical test and 4 1/2 years later, I can testify to the excellent level of care given by the medical staff, Neurologist, Neurosurgeons and Nurse Practitioners of the Neuroscience Department of Dell Children's Medical Center.
Living with epilepsy is not always easy. It presents many challenges not just for me, but for my family as well. One thing we always knew, even on the hardest of days, was the reliable and consistent medical care and support provided by this program.
Often times I have wondered if not for this program, how different my life would be - I know it wouldn't be for the better. I am forever grateful for those who have and who continue to care for not just my special medical needs, but for the many others like me. I am also eternally thankful for this medical facility that places a high priority in providing state of the art neurological care to the children in Texas.
Please consider giving to this more than worthy cause - The Neuroscience Program of Dell Children's Medical Center located in Austin Texas.
Seize the moment and keep a good thing going!
Thank you -
Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy patient
